Top seven premium bikes to look out for at Auto Expo 2018

The Auto Expo 2018 is just a few days away, and most of the bike manufacturers are well prepared to make some serious noise at the event. While companies like Harley-Davidson and Bajaj have decided not to participate this year, other manufacturers like Suzuki and Kawasaki are looking forward to making a powerful impact at the show with products like Suzuki GSX-S750, Kawasaki ninja 400, and more. Kawasaki Z900RS

Kawasaki Z900RS has been built on the same platform as its predecessor Z900, which was introduced at the EICMA last year. The new version will develop power from the same 948 cc engine found in Z900. Also, the frame is happened to be the same one, while the rear part is supposed to be a bit modified in order to bring a new flatter seat at the back. Expect the price to be around Rs 8-9 lakh.

Suzuki GSX-S750

Suzuki GSX-S750 is a middle-weight naked motorcycle that shares some similarities to the earlier launched Z650. The new bike will draw power from the same K5 series engine, which is found in the 2005 GSX-R750. The K5 series engine has done wonders to the manufacturer as it allows a short chassis architecture that gives a much better agility to the bike. Suzuki will not keep the price above Rs 9 lakh so as to give a stiff competition to the likes of Ducati Monster 797 and Triumph Street triple S.

Suzuki V-Strom 650

Suzuki V-Strom 650 is already available in the international market, and now the manufacturer is planning to launch in the Indian market as well. It is one of the most spectacular and popular middleweight adventure touring bikes produced by an automobile company. You can expect the motorcycle to come at a higher price tag of Rs 10 lakh or more. The V-Strom 650 is likely to take against Triumph Tiger 800 and Kawasaki Versys 650.

Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE

Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE has already been showcased at the EICMA show along with Ninja H2 SE, and now the company is bringing the former to the Auto Expo 2018. Ninja H2 SX SE is the only supercharged sport touring motorbike that is present in the whole world. As per the expectations, the price would be well within the range of Rs 25-28 lakh.

Honda Rebel 300

The Honda Rebel 300 is an affordable cruiser in the price range of Rs 1.6 lakh to Rs 1.8 lakh. Cruiser bikes are very popular among the Indian bike enthusiasts, especially the affordable ones like the Royal Enfield motorcycles and Bajaj Avenger. The Honda Rebel 300 is expected to do the same in the domestic market.

Kawasaki Ninja 400

Kawasaki Ninja 400 is the updated version of Ninja 300 but in a completely new form. However, the new bike share some of its design from the earlier launched Ninja ZX-10R. In addition, the engine specs have been derived from the KTM RC 390. Expect the price to be around Rs 4.5 to Rs 4.6 lakh.

Yamaha is looking forward to launch the 2018 YZF-R3 alongside YZF-R15 v3.0 at the Auto Expo 2018. Both the models are the most highly awaited bikes for the Indian market. As for the pricing, both will cost around the same as its previous versions.
